Run Cute Password Manager Setup Wizard via your program menu, follow the wizard steps, then on the third step, you need to re-type a new master password for you. Thus all your info cards will be encrypted with the new one.

Hi pals,

Today we are going to teach you how to log you into websites without click Infocards on CPM. obviously, there are 2 ways to do that below:

1. Go to the "Quick Launch Bar" on system tray and type the name of infocard as the below picture show:

2. Open the Infocard Editor, then right click the infocard on the left panel tree and select the desktop, IE favorite or QuickLaunchBar menu items from popup menu as the below picture show:

How to import Roboform's passwords to CPM

Roboform is not a freeware anymore, so some people want to use CPM with the existed Roboform's Passwords. Ok, no problem.

1. Open Roboform Print List Window from Roboform systray icon -> logins -> print list as below:

2. Check the 'Full url' box, 'column' to 1 and 'break every page ...' to 'off' in the window as below:

3. Click the 'save' button to save the passwords as HTML file as below:

4. Open import wizard from CPM's systray icon -> options -> userdata -> import From...

5. Select the 3th item from the list.

6. Select your Roboform HTML File as picture shown below:

7. Then click the 'OK' button, now the passwords should be imported.

How to import your own passwords file to CPM

Some guys saved their passwords on text, excel or csv file. Today I will teach you how to import them to Cute Password Manager. Ok, let's get started.

1. Make sure that your passwords file is well formatted as below:

google, google1234,http://www.google.com

youtube,youtube12345,http://www.youtube.com

2. Open import wizard from CPM's systray icon -> options -> userdata -> import From...

3. Select the item from the list as the picture shown below:

4. Click the 'Browser...' button to select your file and select one delimiter as the picture shown below:

5. Click the 'Next' button to open the next window.

6. Click each column header to map a filed and check the box as the picture shown below:

7. Now your password file is imported to CPM.

I recently encountered a free Password Manager product called Cute Password Manager and I just loved it. I have always been a Roboform user and to be frank, the product still has some way to go compared to Roboform, but in general it satisfies my needs and it is free.

First checkout some of their tutorials on how the product works. I linked it here for easy viewing:

I have yet to try some of the advanced techniques recommended on their website, but I'll post what I think of them in the future. I am particularly interested in their auo-fill function as I do a lot of online shopping and I am really really sick and tired of typing my address information endlessly. Roboform does a great job at auto-filling; I'll see how Cute Password Manager works.

Here's a list of features copied from downloadsquad where I first downloaded the software:

- AutoSaving passwords in your browser saves time. Firefox and others has this built in, but it's nice to have something outside of the browser in case it crashes and dies.
- Cute will generate really strong passwords for you to manage. So you could unify all of your passwords with one that's solid. And you don't have to remember it.
- Encrypt passwords and personal data using AES.
- Info is stored on your PC only (No Macs though...boooooo)
- Backup & Restore, Print your passwords.
- Fights Phishing by filling passwords only on matching web sites.
- Imports & Exports your passwords with text and csv format file.

In general, at a first glance, here's what I like personally about Cute Password Manager over Roboform:

- Great for non computer savvy users. I am able to use the product right after installation without any configuration or a bunch of setup.

- It's FREE.
